Optify continues to move ahead in developing new tools for inbound marketing, including enhancements to the recently released Contact Manager as well as the first full release of the new Email Manager.

Email Manager debuts with new features

In our latest announcement, we noted the limited release of Email Manager for early adopters. Now Email Manager is available for all customers, giving every Optify customer unprecedented tools for direct email marketing.

The new release includes a number of exciting features:

  • email-main-sm.pngNew reports: The new Email Performance Report provides detailed metrics on how many recipients opened your mail, unsubscribed, and clicked links. The Email Traffic Report shows which emails are driving traffic to your website.
  • Closed loops:  Optify automatically tracks all links you create in the emails you send from Email Manager. Activity on these links shows up in your email reports. In addition, the Website Feed dashboard widget gives you real time updates about which contacts visit your site using your email links.
  • Named sends:  Now you can give each mailing a name to help you track manage campaigns and compare the success of various mailings to one another.
  • Plain text email editing: Optify sends your email in a multi-part format so that even if recipients can't (or choose not to) see HTML formatting, they can still see a plain text version of your mail.  The plain text editing view lets you determine the content of that version of your mail.
  • Clone your mail: The new email cloning feature lets you create new mails based on existing ones.

Contact Manager gets added power

update-field-btn.pngContact manager, released earlier this month, also features some new enhancements.  For example, you can now edit the name and descriptions of the custom contact lists you create for various purposes.  Better still, the new Update a field button lets you make bulk changes to a single attribute across many (or all) of your contacts.

Additional enhancements

Optify has also simplified the process of editing landing pages.  Now when you click on the name of one of your existing landing pages in the main Landing Pages application, that page opens in the Landing Page Editor (rather than displaying page details).  This makes Landing Pages more parallel to the new Email Manager, in which clicking an email name opens that email for editing.

Optify's new email marketing tools will give you a more complete solution to your inbound marketing quest.  To give them a try, contact your Optiy sales rep.
